Additional product information

Starting with ArcGIS Enterprise 12.0, Esri will introduce updates to clarify further the level of support Esri plans for each release.

The upcoming release of ArcGIS Enterprise 12.0 will mark the start of a new product lifecycle for ArcGIS Enterprise on Windows and Linux. With this update, all supported versions of ArcGIS Enterprise will always be eligible for security patches; long-term support releases will be supported for four years, and short-term support releases will be supported for one year. This update will not impact any versions of ArcGIS Enterprise released before ArcGIS Enterprise 12.0.

Along with all components of the ArcGIS Enterprise base deployment (Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, ArcGIS Web Adaptor), all server licensing roles of the ArcGIS Server software components follow the same product life cycle as the main ArcGIS Enterprise version.

ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes has a separate product lifecycle.
