  1. [aerial photography] Also known by the acronym DOQQ. A digital orthophoto quadrangle (DOQ) divided into four quadrants. A 1-meter resolution digital orthorectified image basemap comprising an area measuring 3.75-minutes longitude by 3.75-minutes latitude, covering the United States at a scale of 1:12,000, in the UTM projection, referenced to the NAD 27 or NAD 83 datum. May be black and white (B/W), natural color, or color infrared (CIR). Produced for, and distributed by, the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
