Error Message

Attempting to log in to ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud using an ArcGIS Online account fails and returns the following error message:

Cause

The account used to log in to ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud is a public ArcGIS Online account and is not part of an ArcGIS organization.

When logging in to ArcGIS Online from a web browser, the public account URL is as follows:

www.arcgis.com/home/index.html

Solution or Workaround

1. Convert the public account to an ArcGIS Online organizational account. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Join organization for instructions.
2. Assign the Essential Apps license to the user to access ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Configure user type extensions for instructions.
