Esri recommends that all users of the ArcGIS Web Adaptor (IIS) 10.9.1 download and install this patch.

A single installation of this ArcGIS Web Adaptor (IIS) 10.9.1 Large Offline Map Areas Patch will update all ArcGIS Web Adaptors configured on a machine; no additional installation or configuration is needed for multiple web adaptors on a machine.

Regarding the typical patch finding and notification tools, you will experience some limitations for this ArcGIS Web Adaptor (IIS) 10.9.1 patch. The PatchFinder utility is currently limited to only showing one web adaptor even though the patch has been applied to all web adaptors on the machine. The ArcGIS Enterprise Patch Notification tool cannot be used to apply this patch because the tool does not currently support showing patch notifications for the ArcGIS Web Adaptor (IIS).
