Configure the positions of gallery card items in ArcGIS Hub

Summary

In ArcGIS Hub, the gallery card can be used to display a mix of different items on the site, including datasets, additional sites and pages, or apps such as story maps, web maps, dashboards, and surveys. It displays up to 16 items using the item's thumbnail and summary, and an item in the gallery can be opened by clicking the item's card. A maximum of four items can be displayed in each row of the gallery card. If the subsequent row has less than four items, these items are stretched to fit the entire row and are displayed larger than the items in the row above.

The image below shows an ArcGIS Hub site with six gallery card items. In this example, four items are displayed on the first row, and two items are displayed, larger, on the second row.

This article provides the workflow to configure the positions of gallery card items in ArcGIS Hub, which is useful for customizing a site and creating an even layout.

Procedure

1. Open the ArcGIS Hub site in edit mode.
2. On the side panel, click Layout and drag a Spacer card onto the left side of the gallery card.

3. Hover over the right edge of the spacer and click the icon to decrease the size of the spacer until the required number of gallery card items are displayed on the rows. In this example, the spacer is resized until only three gallery card items are displayed on each row.

4. Optionally, add and resize another Spacer card on the other end of the gallery card to adjust its alignment.
