MapObjects is a set of mapping software components that enables the user to embed maps in applications. It is possible to combine MapObjects with components from other vendors, such as graphing, multimedia, and database objects. The applications built can be tailored to the specific requirements of the end-users.
MapObjects comprises ActiveX control (OCX), called the Map control, and a set of over forty-five ActiveX Automation objects. It is for use in industry standard Windows programming environments.
Programs built with MapObjects run on Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and Windows NT 4 or higher.
