Delete custom styles in ArcMap

Summary

The following steps can be used to remove custom styles created for labels, scale bars, marker symbols, etc. in ArcMap.

Procedure

1. On the Customize tab, click Style Manager.

2. In the the navigation (left) pane of Style Manager, expand the folder that contains the custom styles.
3. In the details pane on the right, select the symbol to remove, right-click it, and click Delete.
   • All the custom symbols, labels, etc., are found within the yellow folders of the navigation pane, as shown in the image below.
