  1. [spatial statistics (use for geostatistics)] A parameter of a variogram or semivariogram model that represents a distance beyond which there is little or no autocorrelation among variables.
  2. [mathematics] The minimum and maximum values a set of numbers can have.
  3. [biology] The area where a species is found naturally. Also known as species range.
