radar interferometry

  1. [remote sensing] The analysis of interferograms that have been created by IFSAR, or artificially. Radar interferometry involves the comparison of two or more images of the same area taken from different positions and calibrated with surveyed ground points to generate 3D digital elevation models (DEMs), or models demonstrating slight movements of surface features.
