An analysis technique that uses interferograms (created by IFSAR or artificially) to generate 3D digital elevation models (DEMs) or to model surface or land cover changes, such as earthquake or glacier maps. Radar interferometry involves comparing two or more images of the same area taken from different positions and calibrated with surveyed ground points, demonstrating slight variations in surface features.
