king's case

[spatial analysis]
A spatial analysis method in which contiguity is defined not only by the four adjacent quadrats sharing a row or column edge with the center quadrat but also the diagonal quadrat neighbors. Sometimes also called queen's case. Both king's case and queen's case are derived from chess.
