  1. [map display] A processing parameter that renders a point from which the observer’s perspective is defined for maps and scenes. A camera's perspective has a location (x longitude, y latitude, and z elevation for scenes), a heading (an x-axis angle about which the camera is rotated, in degrees), a pitch (the angle at which the camera is rotated vertically relative to the y-axis, in degrees), and roll (the angle the camera is rotated about its center axis, in degrees).
