Map elements visible on nested widgets in the Sidebar widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder

Description

When expanding nested widgets in the Sidebar widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder, map elements from the Map widget are visible on the nested widgets. In this example, the map element is the basemap credits, which are visible on the nested widgets within the Sidebar widget, as shown in the map below.

Cause

The Overlay setting is enabled in the widget. Expanding the side panel of the Sidebar widget causes map elements from the Map widget to overlap parts of the other panel in the Sidebar widget.

Solution or Workaround

Toggle the Overlay setting off to prevent the side panel from overlapping the other panel when expanded.

1. Open the ArcGIS Experience Builder web experience.
2. In the Sidebar panel, on the Content tab, under Side panel, toggle Overlay off. Optionally, resize the Sidebar widget.

3. Save, preview, and publish the web app.

The map shows the elements displayed without overlaps in the nested widgets of the Sidebar widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder.
