Unable to delete users from an ArcGIS Workforce project

Description

In ArcGIS Workforce, the option to remove dispatchers or mobile workers is unavailable because the remove button is replaced with Active, even though the user is no longer part of the organization, as shown in the image below.

Cause

• The dispatchers have created assignments that remain incomplete.
• The mobile workers are associated with existing assignments.

Solution or Workaround

Cancel the assignments

1. Open the ArcGIS Workforce project.
2. On the Assignments tab, check the assignment check boxes for assignments created by the dispatcher.
3. Click Cancel.

Reassign the assignments

1. Open the ArcGIS Workforce project.
2. On the Assignments tab, check the desired assignment check box.
3. Click Assign and select the new mobile user.
