The Analyze and Publish options are disabled when sharing layers from ArcGIS Pro to ArcGIS Online

Description

In ArcGIS Pro, when attempting to share layers to ArcGIS Online, the Analyze and Publish options are disabled as shown in the image below.

The Share As Web Layer pane is to be configured but the Analyze and Publish options are disabled.

Only an organization's default administrator or a member with administrative privileges can perform the following workflow.

Change the member’s role with the privilege to publish layers

In ArcGIS Online, change the member’s role to Publisher, Facilitator, or Administrator. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Change member roles for instructions.

Configure the member’s custom role to grant the privileges to publish layers

In ArcGIS Online, configure the member’s custom role by enabling the privileges to publish the preferred layers in the Content section under the General privileges settings. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Configure member roles for more information and instructions.

Purchase more credits for the ArcGIS Online organization

In ArcGIS Online, purchase additional credits for the organization from the Esri store to enable publishing layers.
