In ArcGIS Pro, it is possible to concatenate the fields of a table and display the field attributes in a new field. However, it is sometimes necessary to concatenate the values of a single field using a Case Field in the attribute table, as shown in the image below. This method allows rows of data to be merged and prevents duplicate records.
This article describes how to use the Summary Statistics tool to concatenate field values using a Case Field in ArcGIS Pro. In this example, the values of the COUNTY ID field are the values to be concatenated, with the NAME field as the Case Field.
Note: The Concatenate statistics type in the Summary Statistics tool is only available in ArcGIS Pro 3.0 and subsequent versions.
