Summary
ArcGIS Pro provides the capability to copy feature datasets, feature classes, and tables to a geodatabase. However, in some instances, the batch copy functionality is needed to copy multiple datasets from different file geodatabases into a new file geodatabase to save time. This article provides several methods to batch copy feature classes from multiple file geodatabases into a new file geodatabase in ArcGIS Pro.
Procedure
Copy the feature classes from the Catalog pane
- In ArcGIS Pro, expand all the geodatabases in the Catalog pane.
- Press and hold the Ctrl key, and select the desired feature classes. Alternatively, press and hold the Shift key, and select all the feature classes.
- Right-click the selected features and click Copy.
- Right-click the new geodatabase, and click Paste or Paste Special.
Use the Export function
- Repeat Steps 1 to 2 from the first method.
- Right-click the selected features and click Export > Feature Class(es) to Geodatabase.
- In the Feature Class To Geodatabase pane, ensure all needed features are selected for Input Features.
- Browse and select the new geodatabase for Output Geodatabase. Click Run.
