Cause

  • The issue may be due to corrupt or invalid connections between ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Data Store.
  • Port 3268 is used in the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) connection string.

Solution or Workaround

Unregister and re-register ArcGIS Data Store to ArcGIS Server

Note:
This workflow involves unregistering and re-registering ArcGIS Data Store connections. This temporarily affects the connection between ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Data Store. Unregistering and re-registering should have no effect on any existing data in ArcGIS Data Store. All previous services should continue to function after the re-registration. However, Esri recommends an appropriate backup solution for the ArcGIS Enterprise system be in place before proceeding.
  1. Navigate to ArcGIS Server Manager > Site > Server Configuration > Data Stores. Identify the ArcGIS Data Store used as a managed database, and click Unregister. This unregisters the identified data store as a managed database. Refer to ArcGIS Server: Unregister a data store for more information.

  1. Re-register ArcGIS Data Store using the Data Store Configuration wizard. Refer to ArcGIS Enterprise: Create a data store using the Data Store Configuration wizard for instructions.

Use port 389 or 636

Configure the LDAP JSON string in ArcGIS Server Manager to use port 389 or 636. Refer to ArcGIS Server: Configure web-tier authentication with an LDAP directory for instructions.
