ERROR 030201: Sharing analysis result as route layers is only supported with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5.1 or later

Error Message

As of March 22, 2022, running the Share As Route Layers geoprocessing tool from the Network Analyst Tools toolbox against ArcGIS Online portal fails with Error 030201:

ERROR 030201: Sharing analysis result as route layers is only supported with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5.1 and later.

Note: 
This issue is fixed in ArcGIS Pro 2.6.9 and ArcGIS Pro 2.9.3, but affects the following versions of ArcGIS Pro: 
• ArcGIS Pro 2.4.x
• ArcGIS Pro 2.5.x 
• ArcGIS Pro 2.6 - 2.6.8 
• ArcGIS Pro 2.7.x 
• ArcGIS Pro 2.8.x 
• ArcGIS Pro 2.9 - 2.9.2

Solution or Workaround

The steps below describe how to fix this error by running a script (.bat file) that copies the necessary files to your ArcGIS Pro install directory.

1. Download the sarl-patch.zip file that contains the files required to fix this error.
2. Extract the sarl-patch.zip file to a folder on your computer.
3. Right-click the apply-patch.bat file from the extracted files and select Run as administrator from the context menu.

Note:
If you double-click the apply-patch.bat file, Windows runs the file without administrator privileges and the script fails with the error message:  “The script 'Apply-Patch.ps1' cannot be run because it contains a "#requires" statement for running as Administrator.”

4. In the User Account Dialog, select Yes to continue executing the script.
5. After the script completes successfully, press any key to close the command window.
