  1. [data analysis] Information derived from a thorough analysis of images, data, and calculations about a location, typically used to solve geographic problems. It includes, but is not limited to, the analysis of literal imagery; geospatial data; and information and data from, for example, processed spectral, spatial, and temporally fused products. Often abbreviated as GEOINT.
