HOW TO

Direkter Zugriff auf Offline-Bearbeitungen aus ArcGIS Field Maps von einem iOS-Gerät aus

Last Published: December 7, 2023

Zusammenfassung

ArcGIS Field Maps stores offline replicas in an SQLite database or runtime geodatabase (as .geodatabase files) before they are synchronized to the feature service. In the event the offline edits cannot be synchronized, the locally stored edits are extracted from the mobile device and converted to a file geodatabase. The instructions provided describe the steps to do this in ArcGIS Field Maps on iOS operating systems, and how to work with or convert the recovered data.

Note:
These instructions form the last option to salvage data from the device. Contact Esri Support Services for help with device information and errors.

Vorgehensweise

  1. Sync the offline edits of the runtime geodatabase in ArcGIS Pro.
    1. Launch ArcGIS Pro and log in to ArcGIS Online with the same credentials used in ArcGIS Field Maps.
    2. In the Catalog pane, on the Project tab, click Folders to add a folder connection to the runtime geodatabase folder. Refer to ArcGIS Pro: Connect to a folder for instructions.

  1. On the ribbon, click the Map tab, and click Sync in the Offline group. The Sync tool must be active when a valid offline dataset is added to the map contents.
Select Sync in the Offline group of the Map tab on the ribbon.

Alternatively, use the following steps to convert the runtime geodatabase or mobile geodatabase to a file geodatabase in ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap.

In ArcGIS Pro

In ArcGIS Pro, convert the mobile geodatabase to a file geodatabase using the Mobile Geodatabase To File Geodatabase tool.

  1. Launch ArcGIS Pro and open a project.
  2. In the Geoprocessing pane, search for the Mobile Geodatabase To File Geodatabase tool. Refer to ArcGIS Pro: Run a tool in the Geoprocessing pane for the steps to do this.
  3. In the Mobile Geodatabase To File Geodatabase pane, configure the Parameters tab as follows:
    1. For Input Mobile Geodatabase, click Browse…. The Browse.... icon. to browse and select the mobile geodatabase file.
    2. For Output File Geodatabase, click Browse…. The Browse.... icon. to specify the location of the output geodatabase file.
    3. Click Run.

There are two tabs in the Mobile Geodatabase To File Geodatabase pane, which are Parameters and Environments. The parameters under the Parameters tab is configured. Click Run at the bottom-left of the geoprocessing pane after filling in the parameters.

In the Catalog pane, the mobile geodatabase is converted to file geodatabase and the feature class in the file geodatabase is displayed.

In ArcMap

In ArcMap, convert the runtime geodatabase to file geodatabase using the Copy Runtime Geodatabase To File Geodatabase tool.

  1. Launch ArcMap, and open a project.
  2. Open the Search window, and search for the Copy Runtime Geodatabase To File Geodatabase tool. Refer to ArcMap: Using the Search window to search for tools for the steps to do this.
  3. Configure the Copy Runtime Geodatabase To File Geodatabase tool parameters as follows:
    1. For Input Runtime Geodatabase, click the browse The browse icon. icon to browse and select the runtime geodatabase file.
    2. For Output File Geodatabase, click the browse The browse icon. icon to specify the location of the output file geodatabase.
    3. Click OK.

In the Copy Runtime Geodatabase To File Geodatabase tool parameters, browse the runtime geodatabase file to specify Input Runtime Geodatabase and specify Output File Geodatabase. Click OK on the bottom of the tool window.

The image below shows the runtime geodatabase converted to the file geodatabase in ArcMap.

In the Catalog pane, the runtime geodatabase is converted to file geodatabase and the feature class in the file geodatabase is displayed.
