ArcGIS Enterprise Log4j Patch Summary Page

Summary

On December 9th, 2021 a security vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228, also known as log4shell) was disclosed for the Apache Log4j v2 library widely used by many vendors across a wide variety of software products. Subsequently several additional vulnerabilities were disclosed for Log4j throughout December 2021 and January 2022. This page contains a comprehensive list of patches available for ArcGIS Enterprise to address the Log4j vulnerabilities that are listed below.

Description

ArcGIS Enterprise includes the Log4j library in several components across multiple versions of the software. This page contains a comprehensive list of patches available for ArcGIS Enterprise components and supported versions.

A comprehensive overview of Esri’s full response to the Log4j vulnerabilities can be found at ArcGIS and Apache Log4j Vulnerabilities. Customers that are using other versions of ArcGIS Enterprise or its predecessors are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest available long-term support release and apply the available patches.
