A public CSV file published using Google Sheets and added using the 'Add Layer from Web' option no longer works in ArcGIS Online.

Share documents as Excel files using either Microsoft OneDrive or Dropbox using the second workflow in How To: Add and update Google Sheets data in ArcGIS Online. This method requires a manual update to reflect any changes.

Add as an item in the ArcGIS Online Content tab

1. Open the Content tab.
2. Click Add Item > From a cloud drive.
3. Select either Dropbox or OneDrive. Specify File Type and the sheet.

To update changes in the published hosted feature layer

1. Open the item details page.
2. Click Update Data > Overwrite Entire Layer.
