In some instances, when attempting to access the Portal Administrator Directory, the following error message is returned:

Error:
Administrative access is disabled. Please contact your system administrator to enable it.

Causa

• The web adaptor is not configured to allow administrative access.
• The incorrect URL is used to access the Portal Administrator Directory.

Solución o solución alternativa

To resolve the error, configure the web adaptor to enable administrative access to the site. Refer to ArcGIS Enterprise: Configuring the Web Adaptor from the configuration web page for more information. If the issue persists, ensure the Portal Administrator Directory URL follows the format below:
