Pop-ups do not display the attribute information in ArcGIS Dashboards

Description

In ArcGIS Dashboards, when selecting a feature from a map to view its pop-up, the attribute information is not displayed, as shown in the image below.

Cause

This issue occurs when the map element in the dashboard is too small to display the pop-up’s attribute information on the map.

Solution or Workaround

Use one of the following options to resolve the issue.

Resize the map element to display the attribute information

1. Log in to ArcGIS Online and click Content > My Content.
2. Browse to the dashboard, click More Options and select Edit Dashboard.
3. In ArcGIS Dashboards, resize the map element to display the attribute information on the dashboard. Refer to ArcGIS Dashboards: Resize elements for more information.
4. On the left panel, click Save and select Save to save the dashboard.

Use the details element to display the attribute information

Note:
Adding the details element is an alternative to display the attribute information of the layer’s pop-up, although, it does not specifically display the attributes of the selected features in the dashboard.

In ArcGIS Dashboards, use the details element to display the attribute information of the layer's pop-up in the dashboard.

1. Log in to ArcGIS Online and click Content > My Content.
2. Browse to the dashboard, click More Options , and select Edit Dashboard.
3. In the Layout pane, on the Body tab, click Add element and select Details.

4. In the Details window, under Layers from ‘<map_name>’ map:, select the layer.

5. In the Details window, configure the element and click Done. Refer to ArcGIS Dashboards: Details for more information.
6. On the left panel, click Save and select Save to save the dashboard.
