Unable to display polygon and point feature services when working offline in Collector for ArcGIS (Windows)

Description

In some instances, when attempting to sync a map to work offline in Collector for ArcGIS (Windows), the point and polygon feature services do not appear on the map.

Cause

This is a known limitation. The problem occurs when using polygon and point feature services published from ArcGIS Pro, and is specific for Windows 10 devices. For more information, refer to BUG-000105146.

Solution or Workaround

To resolve this issue, use one of the following options:

Save the polygon and point feature services in ArcGIS Online
Save each polygon and point feature service in the ArcGIS Online web map to update the JSON of the feature services.

  1. In ArcGIS Online, open the web map containing the polygon or point feature services and save each of them in the web map referring to the web help page, ArcGIS Online Help: Save layer.
  2. Save the web map again and enable the layers and map for offline use.
After the polygon and point feature services are saved, sync the web map to work offline in Collector for ArcGIS (Windows).

Use ArcMap to publish the polygon and point feature services
Publish the polygon and point feature services from ArcMap referring to the following web help page, ArcGIS Online Help: Publish from ArcMap. Use the published polygon and point feature services to create a web map and sync the web map to work offline in Collector for ArcGIS (Windows).
