Military Analyst 9.3 Service Pack 1 Edit Patch

Summary

ESRI announces ArcGIS Military Analyst 9.3 for Windows Service Pack 1 Edit Patch. This patch resolves an issue that produced incompatibility between ArcMap and Military Analyst. When Military Analyst 9.3 Service Pack 1 and this Edit Patch are both installed, Military Analyst 9.3 will function successfully with ArcGIS 9.3.1.

Description

We recommend that all Military Analyst 9.3 customers download and install this edit patch, at their earliest convenience, to ensure that ArcMap and Military Analyst function together properly.

Issues Addressed with this Edit Patch

An issue has been resolved that caused ArcMap to cease functioning when some RPF catalogs were added to a map display containing vector data and the user then tried to edit the vector data (NIM044175).

Installing this Edit Patch

ArcGIS 9.3 and ArcGIS Military Analyst 9.3 Service Pack 1 must be installed before you can install this edit patch.

Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation directory (by default, this is C:\Program Files\ArcGIS) and that no one is accessing it.
Download the file in the Downloads section below to a location other than the ArcGIS installation directory.
Double-click the .msp file to open the installation wizard (setup program).
The first panel of the installation wizard opens; follow the on-screen instructions

NOTE: If you have installed client setups from a shared Network Administrative ArcGIS Desktop setup, this patch must be applied to all client installations.
