ArcGIS Schematics 9.2 Callback Builder Patch

This patch solves issues in the Schematic Callback Builder that were causing an inability to create new diagrams. This only impacts customers that use the Callback Builder.

ESRI® announces the ArcGIS Schematics 9.2 Callback Builder Patch. This patch solves issues in the Schematic Callback Builder that were causing an inability to create new diagrams.  This only impacts customers that use the Callback Builder.  The Network Dataset Builder, Standard Builder and Custom Query Builders are not impacted by this patch. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this Patch.

We recommend that users who use the Callback Builder download and install this patch at their earliest convenience.

Issues Addressed with this Patch

 

• NIM012616 - Callback builder doesn't initialize the related object when the parent element is defined after chid (issue only with SDE).

Installing the Patch

ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 Service Pack 3 must be installed before you can install this Patch.

1. Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS Desktop installation location, and that no one is using ArcGIS Desktop.

3. Download ArcGIS-92sp3-SchematicsCB-Patch.exe to a location other than your ArcGIS Desktop installation location.
   
   
4. Double-click the setup file to start the install process.

6. When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.

NOTE: If you have installed client setups from a shared Network Administrative ArcGIS Desktop setup, this Patch must be applied to all client installations.

How to identify which Patch is installed

To check for the presence of a Patch, for each file examine the File version information (right click, properties, version tab). With only a few exceptions, all files modified as part of a Patch distribution can be uniquely identified in this manner. The File version for this Patch should read::
