Unable to install ArcGIS Pro silently. You must accept the EULA to install ArcGIS Pro

Description

While installing ArcGIS Pro 3.x via the Command Prompt, a common error is encountered:

“Error: You must accept the EULA to install ArcGIS Pro”

After running Microsoft fix-it to repair the Windows Registry keys, and sometimes after referring to following article: Error: You must accept the EULA to install ArcGIS Pro this error is resolved. However, in some cases this error persists.

Cause

The existence of a corrupt product file for ArcGIS Pro in the Windows Registry gives this prompt error.

Solution or Workaround

To resolve the issue, delete the corrupted ArcGIS Pro product files, as follows.

1. Open the Windows Registry Editor on the affected machine.
2. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products, as shown in the next image.

3. Check each of the folders and search for keys where the Name is ProductName and Data is ArcGIS Pro. An example is shown in the image below.

4. Delete the entire folder that contains this key.
5. After deleting the affected folders, run the silent install command for ArcGIS Pro.
6. Launch ArcGIS Pro.
