Description

When creating offline map areas in Field Maps Designer, the following warning message is returned in the Content section:

Warning:
Features with true curves cannot currently be edited in Field Maps.
The Features with true curves cannot currently be edited in Field Maps warning message.

In some instances, the following warning message is returned:

Warning:
The layer requires true curve client editing, which is not currently supported in Field Maps.
The 'The layer requires true curve client editing, which is not currently supported in Field Maps.' warning message is returned.

Cause

The web map contains Bezier curves. Therefore, enabling or disabling both, the 'Allow update of true curves' and 'Only allow true curve updates by true curve clients' options in ArcGIS Online prevents the web map from being edited in ArcGIS Field Maps and returns the warning messages in Field Maps Designer when creating the offline map areas.

Solution or Workaround

Enable editing of true curves in the hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online to resolve all warning messages. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Allow or prevent editing of true curve features for further instructions. For Step 5, ensure only the Allow update of true curves option is enabled as shown in the image below.

The 'Allow update of true curves' option is enabled.
