Unable to delete records in related tables in ArcGIS Pro

Description

In ArcGIS Pro, records or rows in related tables cannot be modified or deleted. The 'Delete' or 'Delete Row' option is disabled for the selected records, as shown in the images below.

Cause

Users with the ArcGIS Pro Basic license do not have the privileges to delete permanent related tables. Relationships created with the Create Relationship Class tool are permanent.

Solution or Workaround

• Upgrade to the ArcGIS Pro Standard or Advanced license to allow deleting as well as updating records in the related tables. Refer to ArcGIS Pro: Authorize ArcGIS Pro with a Concurrent Use license and ArcGIS Pro: Change the license level or extensions for instructions and more information.
• Create temporary relationships using the Add Relate tool instead of permanent relationships using the Create Relationship Class tool. Refer to How to: Relate attributes from one layer to another layer or table in ArcGIS Pro for instructions.
• Publish the map as a web map to ArcGIS Online and delete the records in the related tables from the REST endpoint of the hosted feature layer. Refer to the 'Delete features from the REST endpoint of the feature service' workflow provided in this article for instructions.
• Select the desired records, and use the Export Features tool to export the records to a new feature layer. Use the Add Relate or Create Relationship Class tool to create new relationships for the new feature layer.
