PROBLEM
In ArcGIS Pro, the symbology of a file geodatabase is not retained when exported from ArcGIS Online. The image below shows the symbology in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer and ArcGIS Pro.

Symbology is a part of layer properties and can only be preserved in a map. Thus, when exporting the file geodatabase from ArcGIS Online to ArcGIS Pro, the ArcGIS Pro default symbology is displayed.
Import and apply the symbology of the hosted feature layer


Export the hosted feature layer as a feature class

to specify the location of the output feature class.
Note: Optionally, save the symbology as a layer file in ArcGIS Pro. Refer to How To: Save the symbology of a feature layer permanently in ArcGIS Pro for more information.
