The login option is unavailable in the ArcGIS Portal Directory

Description

When attempting to log in to the ArcGIS Portal Directory, the option to do so is not displayed, as shown in the image below:

Clicking ‘API Reference’ returns a “Page not found” error.

Cause

Access to the ArcGIS Portal Directory has been disabled.

Solution or Workaround

Use the following steps to enable access to the ArcGIS Portal Directory in the Portal Administrator Directory.

1. Log in to the Portal Administrator Directory with administrator credentials. The Portal Administrator Directory URL format is displayed below:

https://webadaptorhost.domain.com/webadaptorname/portaladmin

2. Under Resources, click Security > Config > Update Security Configuration.
3. On the Update Security Configuration page, set the disableServicesDirectory property to false.

4. Click Update Configuration.
