The highlighted features are not cleared when using the ArcGIS Experience Builder Query widget

Description

When using the Query widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder, the query results are listed in the widget, and the features are highlighted in the Map widget when using the 'Show on map' data action. However, when attempting to clear the highlighted features, only the query results in the Query widget are cleared, while the features in the map remain highlighted, as shown in the image below.

Cause

The 'Clear result' option in the Query widget is used instead of using the 'Clear result' option in the Map widget. Thus, only the features listed in the query search results are cleared and the highlighted features in the Map widget are retained and not cleared.

Solution or Workaround

To solve the issue, use the 'Clear results' in the Map widget to clear the highlighted features. In ArcGIS Experience Builder, on the canvas, in the Map widget, click Clear results and select the preferred query search results to clear the highlighted features.
