The ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App page loads indefinitely

When logging in to ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App, the page loads indefinitely as shown in the image below.

The splash screen is displayed after logging in to ArcGIS Business Analyst.


This issue occurs when the Autosave option of the most recently used project is enabled, and the project's group in ArcGIS Online is deleted. Refer to ArcGIS Business Analyst: Business Analyst content in ArcGIS Online for more information.

Solution or Workaround

  1. Log in to ArcGIS Online.
  2. Click Content > My Content.
  3. On the side of the page, browse and click BA - Application Data under Folders.
  4. In the BA - Application Data folder, browse and delete the BA Preferences file. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Delete items for instructions.

Relaunch ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App to regenerate the BA Preferences file in ArcGIS Online.
