Category selectors with filters do not display full attributes in ArcGIS Dashboards

Description

In ArcGIS Dashboards, when searching for features in the search bar of a category selector, the search results listed in the selector do not return all the attributes of the data.

Cause

The maximum count for categories to be displayed in the selector is less than the number of attributes available in the data.

Solution or Workaround

  1. Open the dashboard in ArcGIS Dashboards.
  2. On the editing page, click the View The View tab in ArcGIS Dashboards tab, and click either Header or Sidebar, depending on where the selector is located.
  3. Hover over the category selector and click Options The Options icon in ArcGIS Dashboards > Configure.
  4. In the Category selector dialog box, click the Data tab.
  5. For Categories from, select Features.
  6. For the Maximum categories parameter, specify a number larger than the number of attributes available in the data. In this example, the number is 1,000.
