Update an email address in My Esri

Summary

Users can update their email addresses in My Esri for Esri accounts not linked to ArcGIS Online, to ensure account security and maintain up-to-date contact information. This article describes the workflow to update an email address in My Esri.

Cause

The user has indicated that they no longer wish to use their previous email address and would like us to update their account with the new email instead. 

Procedure

1. Open a preferred web browser and navigate to https://www.esri.com/en-us/my-esri-login. Click Sign in.
2. Log in using the credentials for the My Esri account requiring the email address update.
3. Click the Profile & Settings tab located at the top of the navigation menu.

4. In Profile & Settings, select Manage Mail and Email Preferences.
5. Locate the Primary Email section. Enter the new email address and click Update to save the changes. The new email address is updated in the My Esri account.
