Select multiple features within the map in ArcGIS Experience Builder

Summary

Interactively selecting multiple features allows for the emphasis of a specific set of features for use in data exploration or analysis. Selected features can be used to calculate statistics, view attributes, edit, or define the features within a layer. This article explains how to select multiple features in ArcGIS Experience Builder.

Procedure

  1. Open the ArcGIS Experience Builder project and navigate to the Insert widget panel.
  2. Under Map centric, drag and drop the Map widget onto the canvas.

  1. In the Map panel, click Select map to select a web map for the first Map widget. If necessary, click Add new data to add web maps from ArcGIS Online.

  1. On the Content tab, under Tools, toggle Select on.

  1. Click Save to save the experience, and click Publish to publish the experience to ArcGIS Online.

  1. To view the published experience, click More from the toolbar at the top of the builder window and click View published item.

  1. To select multiple feature in the published experience, click the drop-down button of the Selection tool and click the required selection method. After selecting, double-click the canvas to view the highlighted features. Refer to ArcGIS Experience Builder: Map widget.
