HOW TO
In ArcGIS Instant Apps, users can provide relevant information or instructions related to an app using an introduction window. While the introduction window is automatically displayed when launching the app, this option can be disabled. Disabling the option is best for users who frequently access the app and find the repetitive closure of the introduction window inconvenient. This article provides the workflow to disable the introduction window of an app from being automatically displayed in ArcGIS Instant Apps.
To disable the introduction window from being automatically displayed when launching the app, enable the Display app details in a fixed location option.
The image below shows the introduction window displayed at the fixed location only when the info button is clicked.
Note: Toggle Open details window when app starts on to automatically display the introduction window at the fixed location when launching the app.
For the Zone Lookup template, the introduction window will be displayed on the side panel of the app by default. The introduction window will only be displayed as a floating window when the 'Open as introduction window' option is enabled. Thus, to disable the introduction window from being automatically displayed when launching the app, toggle Open as introduction window off in ArcGIS Instant Apps.

This workaround is for the Attachment Viewer, Chart Viewer, Exhibit, Insets, Interactive Legend, Nearby, Portfolio, Sidebar, and Slider app templates. To disable the introduction window from being automatically displayed when launching the app, disable the Open introduction window at start option.
