Is it possible to generate a short URL for ArcGIS Web AppBuilder?

Yes, it is possible to generate a short URL for ArcGIS Web AppBuilder using the Share widget. Generated short URLs contain all the parameters listed in the original URL.

Follow the steps described to add a Share widget in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder to generate a short URL.

Note:
Creating an ArcGIS Web AppBuilder app from a web map is not supported in Map Viewer. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Create apps from maps for more information.

1. Open ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, click the Widget tab, and click Set the widgets in this controller.
2. Click the Click here to add widget button .
3. In the Choose Widget window, select the Share widget, and click OK.

4. Click the Share widget icon on the Header Controller to open it.
5. In the Share window, copy the short URL under Share a link to this app, and paste it in the desired platform.

Note:
Different map extents and zoom levels generate different URLs. Despite these settings, all generated URLs redirect to the same web application.
