Can ArcGIS Survey123 Connect be auto-updated?

It is not possible to auto-update ArcGIS Survey123 Connect. Some Esri apps installed using the standard Windows (.exe) installers, including ArcGIS Survey123 Connect, do not support automatic updates. The apps do not have built-in mechanisms that check for new versions, download updates, or install them in the background. All updates must be performed manually by users or administrators.

Starting from version 3.13, ArcGIS Survey123 Connect can also be installed through the Microsoft Store, which provides alerts and automatic updates for new versions. This improvement applies only to the Microsoft Store installation. The auto-update behavior is handled entirely by the Microsoft Store and not by ArcGIS Survey123 Connect.
