ERROR
Attempts to perform spatial analysis on a layer in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer fail, returning the following error message.
Error: You do not have enough credits to perform this operation. Contact your ArcGIS System Administrator for assistance.
The ArcGIS Online member cannot perform spatial analysis because the account has run out of credits. The number of credits allocated to each member in an organization depends on the user type. Creator, Professional, and Professional Plus user types include 500 credits each, while Mobile Worker and Contributor user types include 250 credits each. As a result, the credits allocated to the user type have reached the limit, preventing users with that specific user type from performing spatial analysis in ArcGIS Online.
Note: Only an organization’s default administrator or a member with administrative privileges can perform the following workflows.
Change the member's user type to access more credits
User types determine the privileges and apps available to members. To change user types, refer to ArcGIS Online: Change user types for instructions.
Purchase an additional block of credits and allocate the credit budget to the user or set it to no limit
A minimum of 1,000 blocks of credits must be purchased if the organization has run out of credits. Refer to FAQ: How do I Purchase ArcGIS Online Credits? for instructions.
Upon purchasing the additional credits, administrators can allocate a credit budget that assigns a flexible allocation of credits to some or all organization members. Optionally, the credit budget allocation can be set to no limit. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Manage credit budget for instructions.
