PROBLEM
The ArcGIS Survey123 and ArcGIS QuickCapture mobile applications are experiencing compatibility issues with iPad 7th generation models following the update to iPadOS 18 (iOS 18).
After upgrading to iPadOS 18, users have reported that the ArcGIS Survey123 and ArcGIS QuickCapture apps do not function on iPad 7th generation models. This incompatibility arises from discrepancies in the framework utilized to develop the current versions of these applications and the display pipeline of the iPad 7th generation's processor.
Note:
Among Apple devices equipped with the A10 processor, the iPad 7th generation is the only model that received the iPadOS 18 or iOS 18 update. See the Survey123 field app system requirements for more information.
The Esri development team has actively investigated potential solutions to this issue. Unfortunately, a fix is not currently available, and this bug has been officially documented as a known issue: BUG-000171077 and BUG-000171428.

It is advisable to conduct thorough testing and adopt a phased approach when upgrading the operating system on your devices. Start by upgrading one device to ensure that all software, including Survey123 and QuickCapture, operates correctly before proceeding with the OS upgrade across your entire fleet of devices.
