Acronym for GPS-aided GEO augmented navigation. A regional satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS) that improves the accuracy of GNSS receivers over Indian airspace. GAGAN was implemented by the government of India to provide reference signals for communication, navigation, surveillance, and air traffic management.
