X and Y fields are automatically added in the attribute table if the CSV file has an attribute that starts with A or B and ends with any number in ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro.

This is as-designed. Since the letters A, B, Y, and Z are not used for any latitude bands of the UTM coordinate system, the presence in the MGRS coordinate system, with the omission of a zone number, indicates that the coordinates are in the UPS coordinate system. That means, the A or B prefix triggers the recognition of the string as a Polar MGRS string. Y or Z appears the same in the northern hemisphere. These are auto-detected from the test field and are seen as the beginnings of an MGRS string, which is why X and Y are seen created. If these points are projected, they are located at the pole.
