When trying to analyze a layer package after filling in the parameters of the Item Description tab, "Error 00045" is received which states that users must enter an item description which has already been entered.

Duplicate of NIM073855 :解决办法
When editing the item description through the Catalog window without the layer being in ArcMap and adding the layer into the data frame and attempting to create a layer package, the item description is still present. The description remains present when editing from the Layer Properties dialog box from within the Table of Contents. When trying to create a layer package of a layer that does not have a description already entered in the layer properties, Error 00045 is received. To mitigate the error: 1. Right-click on the error. 2. Select ‘Change General Layer Properties’. 3. Add a description to the layer.重现步骤
