漏洞
When a table in SQL Server is joined to a feature class in SQL Server, definition queries cease to work on the joined table. An error message "Failed to Open Table. Error: An expected Field was not found or could not be retrieved properly. [Fieldname]" is returned.

To solve this issue, move the table and feature class outside of a SQL server and attempt the definition query there.
