Using Arcade in ArcGIS Pro expressions with Unique Values to symbolize a layer returns '?' instead of a count in the symbology pane.

Leave 'Show count' On, and change the expression (for example, change 3 to 4 in the above expression) a count is returned; change the expression back to the original to get the desired count. If 'refresh count', have to repeat this.

Note that the count returned does not reflect an accurate count if a definition query is applied to the layer.
