Using a fully qualified domain name that includes sde, for example machinename.sde.com as an instance name to connect to an enterprise geodatabase, no versioning type is listed in the Geodatabase Connection Properties.

Significant changes have been made to the New Database Connection dialog and this issue is no longer reproducible.解决办法
Do not name the fully qualified domain name with sde.com or modify the host file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\host) to not include .sde in full host name.
The localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself: 00.00.00.00 <anyname>.sde.com.
When editing the host file, use the local machine IP and any name for the domain.
