It is recommended following these steps before performing ArcGIS Notebook Server on Linux upgrade to 11.3 or 11.4. 1. Move the Workspace Directory. Follow the instructions in the same document to relocate the workspace directory.
2. Update configuration store directory using ArcGIS Notebooks Server Manager. Sign in to your ArcGIS Enterprise portal as an administrator. Open the ArcGIS Notebook Server Manager.
3. Update Configuration Store. Click on the Settings tab. Select Configuration Store. Check if the configuration store is located under the Notebook Server installation directory (e.g., /installation_directory/arcgis/notebookserver/usr/config-store). If it is, move the configuration store to an external location. Update the path to the new location, e.g., /installation_directory/arcgisnotebookserver/usr/config-store. Select Yes to move the current configuration and click Save.
4. Update Server Directories. Click on Directories in the left pane. Verify if the arcgisoutput, arcgisjobs, and arcgissystem directories are under the installation directory (e.g., /installation_directory/arcgis/notebookserver/usr/directories). If they are, move them to an external location.
