The 'Maintain fully qualified field names' settings in a geoprocessing environment are not honored when creating a join in ArcMap.

This is by design. The unchecking or checking of the environment ‘Maintain fully qualified field names’ only takes effect when the join is held out by using copy features to copy the rows after a join. Joins always use Qualified field names to tract the tables it comes from. These are temporary joins until saved.重现步骤
